Tagged: Moto G2; dual sim
I have been unable to get dual sim functionality on my Moto G2 since the Lollipop update. It was working fine on Kitkat (Sim 1 for calls and sms, Sim 2 for data only) but now I can only get Sim 1 to function. If I enable them both they seem to be functioning while wifi is enabled, but as soon as wifi turns off both Sim icons get exclamation marks next to them and they stop working. Is this a Lollipop bug, or are there settings that need to be changed?
The ! next to signal strength bar indicates no data connection. It also appears if mobile data connection is not stable.
You can check the network status in Settings–About phone–Status. Check cellular network type and cellular network status.
For your case, did you set the priority to voice? You should enable mobile data on only one of the sim cards.
