For Motorola camera app, if the Android version is Android 7.0 or 8.0, there is an option of “Selfie photo mirror” in camera settings. In this case, you need to switch to the front camera first, then pull out of the settings from the left side.

However, if your camera settings is still a ring, then there is no option for this. You have to use photo editing apps to mirror the photo. You can try the free Google Snapseed app to do it easily.

Hello. I want to purchase the Amazon Prime version of the Moto G4. I have Tmobile. I have read that it is possible to turn on wifi calling for Tmobile on the G4 but I can’t find how to do so in the manuals or searching online. Any help appreciated.
Also what is the easiest way to transfer my iPhone contacts/bookmarks / photos to the G4?
And if all of my friends use iPhone imessaging, and I’m included on the messages, how will it appear on the G4 ?
I’m anxious to get this phone but want to get these questions answered first. Thanks a lot.

Moto G4 doesn’t have wifi calling options. For migrating iPhone data, there are many apps.

For messages, Moto G4 has its own default messaging app. You can also use Google hangouts as default messaging app. Of course, you will get differently layout and different features. But you can read and manage text messages sent by your friends.

Anyway, Android is quite different from iOS. And different vendors have different offers.

How do I stop my Moto G from giving me the error message “SD card unexpectedly removed. Unmount SD card before removing to avoid …”? The message comes up within seconds of plugging the phone in to charge it, while transferring files to another device, as well as other random times throughout the day and night while it’s turned on but not in use. The SD card was only added since August 2016.
Initially, I turned off the phone, removed the card, reseated it, and turned the phone back on, which was a pain in the butt. Now I’ve taken to powering the phone off and restarting it, which clears the error and reloads the SD card, but doing this multiple times a day is troublesome.
    Moto G,
    Android version 5.1,
    Android security patch level 2016-04-01,
    Baseband version M8926_309101.02.03.17R ATT_CUST,
    Kernel version 3.4.42-ge6dec16-00005-g13b401b hudsoncm@ilclbld29 #1 Wed Apr 13 09:12:18 CDT 2016,
    System version 23.201.1.peregrine_att.att.en.US att,
    Build number LPBS23.13-61-1
Device’s s/w is up to date.

    Please help.

Turned out to be a bad SD card. No issues at all since I put in the new card. Woohoo! Yes, I did reinstall the first card, but the unmount error popped up again, so I’m sticking with the new card.

        Dear Simon.
Will Moto ever include a call block option that other manufacturers like Samsung do?
I know there are ‘lots of apps out there’s that claim to block both calls and texts but i don’t like them demanding access to my personal numbers? And the reality is that alot don’t or they are selective as i have been reading in the comments section of several apps. They do come for free with viruses though!
I updated to Moto g KitKat and was disappointed to find a simple ‘regect’ button was not included?
        Heather.

I’ve tried 3 different selfie sticks (different brands), but none of the shutter buttons take a picture, so I figured it must be the phone’s settings. What do I need to do to get any of these sticks to work with my phone?

You should follow instructions of the manual of selfie sticks. Are they using Bluetooth or audio cable? Anyway, you can always check with the seller.

Moto G should have no issue for Bluetooth based selfie stick. You need pair them before you can use the stick.

They were all cabled sticks, but after following each one’s directions (plug in, open camera app, press shutter button on stick), none would snap a picture.

On a whim, I tried yet another one last week, but still nothing.

You should get a Bluetooth one. Audio cable selfie stick is not universal. It only works with certain phone models.

When and how do you get the problem? When using Google search or any other apps?

The Google search bar in Moto g home screen is part of the Google Now launcher. You cannot remove it.

But if you want, you can use third-party launchers.
